âNonsense Babe,â Johnny exclaimed, completely disregarding what Kuai had said and putting it into the online basket. âHonestly, itâs no big, if you like it then you will get it.â
âI⊠Thank you?â Kuai decided it was useless arguing, instead heâd just be grateful someone wanted to spend any sort of money on him.
âNothinâ is too much for my man,â Johnny claimed, leaning in to kiss Kuai on the cheek. He then passed the phone to Kuai. âRight Iâm gonna go grab my credit card, but you take a look around the site and if you see anything else you like just put it in the basket, donât worry about prices alright?â
âI will.â Kuai gave a small smile. He really wasnât sure he wanted to cost Johnny any more money, but he would at least take a look at what else this online store had to offer.
Johnny gave him another kiss, before he was off towards the door. The second he was gone, from across the room he heard a gentle chuckle. Kuai glanced up from the phone to see Kung Jin, sitting on a sofa and looking at Kuai with a strange look on his face.
âCan I help you, Kung Jin?â Kuai questioned, clicking randomly on one of the categories on the website, finding himself in the jewellery section.
âOh, nothing like that,â Jin claimed, grinning and leaning back as Kuai began to walk over to him. âJust thinkinâ it must be nice to have a sugar daddy who pays everything for you.â
Kuai paused in his scrolling to look at Kung Jin and asked âwhat exactly is a sugar daddy?â
âOlder man who buys you stuff.â Jin lent back in his head as Kuai sat opposite him.
âBut⊠Jonathan and I are the same age,â Kuai pondered aloud, and for some reason this made Jin laugh.
âWell, technically, he is about 4 months older than you.â The technicality of that made Kuai give Jin a death glare. âItâs not a bad thing. I mean, you're not exactly the type to spoil yourself, itâs kinda cute you got yourself a guy who wants to do just that.â
Kuai shook his head and returned his attention back to the phone, until he ended up actually spotting something he liked. It was a small necklace, reportedly made of silver, with a small snowflake with a blue gem, a sapphire, in the centre. Kuai clicked the necklace, and stared at it. It was pretty, it was very pretty. But he made the mistake of looking at the price and winced at the $360 tag. There was no way he could justify spending that on something so small just because it was pretty.
He was surprised when a hand darted out in front of him, reaching over to click the Add To Basket button.
Kuaiâs head shot up to Kung Jin, who was now sitting right beside him, as his hand retracted.
âCâmon, you were never going to press that button yourself,â Jin claimed with a shrug. âSugar Daddy Mr Cage told you to get whatever you want, but knowing you, you arenât gonna do that, so how about this if you see something you like Iâll hit the button, then it wonât technically be you who put it there right?â
âYou really enjoy the technicalities of things,â Kuai noted, before looking at the page that had loaded, explaining that the item had been added to the basket.
Below was a header that read Customers Also Bought, where Kuai spotted something else he quite liked. A blue dress, long lace sleeves and the main body coming down to the models feet. He hesitated, he did like it, but⊠He bit his lip. Regardless of what his mind was telling him, Johnny had said to get what he wanted, and well, Jin was right that if it was him hitting the button, then technically Kuai hadnât.
âOkay,â Kuai agreed, hitting the dress and getting a better look at it. It was absolutely stunning, and even though he wasnât sure if that would translate well onto him, he at least wanted to try. âThank you, Kung Jin.â
He moved his fingers out the way, letting Jin lean over to hit the right button again. And while Kuai was going to be careful, and only look deeper into things he really liked, he had to admit, he was actually enjoying this shopping spree.
