It had become somewhat of a routine for Erron to turn up at that old house. The door would always be open, and Kuai Liang would always be waiting for him, tea at the ready. It was still creepy, in Erron's opinion, however nothing as horrifying as the night they met had happened since.

Until tonight it seemed.

As he approached, he swore he heard was sounded like a voice coming from inside. A voice was certainly wasn't Kuai's. It had sounded almost like a little girl's voice.

"Help!" Erron froze, that was definitely the voice of a young girl. His thoughts raced, Kuai was definitely not benevolent, but Erron struggled to imagine that he'd hurt a child. "Please help me!" The child sounded terrified, and Erron couldn't help but slowly reach for his gun. He liked Kuai, and god only knew why but Kuai had always been good to him, but if he really was hurting a kid, Erron couldn't live with that.

He slowly made his way through the house, listening to the girl sob and cry. He managed to pin point her location to the study. He slowly approached the door, looking around the frame. At the desk, he could see the girl slumped, head in her hands as she cried. He couldn't see Kuai, and he wasn't sure if that was good or bad.

"Hey, pst!" He tried to get the girls attention, however she just continued to cry. "Kid!" He tried again, she still didn't acknowledge him.

He huffed, slowly walking towards her in the dark. The closer he got, the stranger the situation appeared. He stared at the girl for a few seconds, her sobs echoing around him but... she wasn't moving. He reached a hand forward, grasping her shoulder and turning her to face him.

He stumbled back when he was met with a lifeless doll.

"What the fuck?" He whispered as he slowly backed away. Something dripped down onto his hand from the ceiling. Frowning, he stared at the thick clear liquid on his hand. He slowly looked up.

Kuai Liang stared back at him, body pressed to the ceiling.

"Jesus fucking Christ," Erron screamed as Kuai suddenly dropped from where he was, landing atop of Erron. Erron was knocked to the floor, feeling cold hands pinning him to the floor, one against his wrists and the other clamped around his neck. Two glowing blue eyes peered at him through the darkness. This is it, holy fuck this is how I fucking die!

Kuai gasped. "Erron!" The hands released him, and Kuai was hurriedly standing up, offering his hand to Erron. "Please accept my deepest apologies, I hadn't realised it was you."

In spite of himself, Erron accepted Kuai's hand, letting himself be hauled back to his feet. He stumbled slightly, as he stared at his strange companion. Kuai's eyes were still glowing ever so slightly.

"Am I allowed to ask what the fuck that was?" Erron asked, not finding it in him to pull his hand out of Kuai's. The longer he held on, the more he realised how deathly cold Kuai was.

"Ah. That was..." Kuai paused, taking a deep breath. "How I feed."

Okay, so whatever the fuck he is eats humans then. Somehow, despite how disturbing that fact should have been, it wasn't that surprising. He looked across at the doll again.

"Okay but... I heard a little girl," he said, pointing to the doll to emphasise his point. Kuai gave that strange empty smile he gave occasionally.

"Oh, that was me too!" Erron felt his stomach drop. The voice that came from Kuai's mouth wasn't his, but that of the little girl Erron had thought he'd heard. Kuai giggled, "convincing, isn't it?"

"Yeah," Erron agreed, he could swear Kuai's hand was getting colder by the second. "So, what you cry out as a little girl in need of help, and lure people in so you can eat them?"

"Something like that," Kuai replied in his regular voice, head tilting slightly. "I can do other voices too," he added, far too cheerfully for what he was talking about. "I can even do you, see?" Erron's own voice coming from Kuai's lips somehow felt far more alarming.

"That's... quite the talent," Erron said, trying to hide his discomfort. He rubbed the back of his neck. "I uh... Dunno how I feel about almost becoming your lunch."

"I truly am sorry," Kuai replied, reaching a hand to his cheek, as frigid as the one holding his hand. "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"

Erron looked at him, considering it. His mind was a mantra at that moment. Don't say sex, don't say sex, don't say sex...

"Uh... Sex?"

I am officially the stupidest motherfucker in the whole goddamn world.

To his relief however, Kuai chuckled, "How forward of you, Mr Black." Kuai's hand trailed down Erron's jaw, along the veins of his neck before brushing away his slightly open shirt and resting the hand on his chest. "It has... been a while since I last had relations with another, I must confess."

Before Erron could reply, a male voice called out from somewhere "Hello? Is anyone there?"

Kuai's mouth quirked upwards, as he replied using the little girls voice again, "Help me! Oh please help me!"

"Oh! Okay, I'm coming! Are you hurt?" The voice shouted back. Erron tried to swallow, even as his mouth grew drier and drier. Kuai held a finger up to his lips with a sly grin.

"Please! I'm so scared!" Kuai pulled away from Erron, making his way to the wall. Erron felt bile rise in the back of is throat as he watched Kuai somehow begin to crawl up the wall. "Please hurry sir!" Kuai cried again, reaching the ceiling, and scrambling across. Despite everything telling Erron how wrong it was, he couldn't look away.

His eyes were drawn to the studies door when a man came running in. Erron and the man stared at each other for a few tense seconds.

"W-where's the girl?" The man asked, stepping forward, conveniently stopping right under Kuai Liang. "Where is she?" Erron's eyes made their way back to the ceiling. The man followed his gaze, sharply drawing in breath at the sight of Kuai above him.

Kuai dropped from the ceiling landing swiftly on his prey. The man began screaming, and Erron watched as Kuai opened his mouth and jerked forward, biting into the mans face. Blood dripped down Kuai's chin, soaking into his beard.

Erron turned away, unable to watch any more. He wasn't someone easily freaked out by blood and guts, but this was just too much. The man screeched in agony as he could hear Kuai tear through his flesh. He clenched his fists so hard his knuckles turned white, screwing his eyes shut. Between the mans screams he could hear a squelching sound, the sound a meat ripping, occasionally what sounded like Kuai choking as he swallowed down his meal. Slowly the mans screams quietened, the only sound he could hear was Kuai eating.

Soon even that stopped, and the room fell into an eerie silence.

Then there were footsteps, slow and heavy ambling towards him. He bit his lip, willing himself to not turn around. He felt a wet hand grasp his bicep, red blood soaking into the blue fabric of his shirt. He turned his head ever so slightly, meeting Kuai's gaze. He looked calm and collected, but there was that same frenzied look in his eyes he had after he'd dealt with the Black Dragon. His face and clothes were painted red once more. He reached to place a hand under Erron's chin, hand sticky with thick blood and other bodily matter.

Kuai's eyes softened, the mania replaced with something Erron was a little more comfortable with: Lust. It was strange, having this creature who had so easily torn another man to shred's look at him with bedroom eyes. It was horrifying really, terrifying even.

And yet... Also flattering.

Kuai could destroy Erron if he wanted but he wasn't going to. For whatever reason, out of anyone who may have came here before, Kuai had chosen Erron as a companion rather than a meal. Erron couldn't say why, he wasn't exactly a good person and definitely not anything special. And yet Kuai looked at him as if he was the most fascinating thing he had seen in centuries.

It was exhilarating, being favoured so strongly by a being so powerful.

He had been so lost in his thoughts, he hadn't even noticed Kuai leaning in close, playfully nipping at Erron's lips, the action sending heat straight to his stomach. Erron cleared his throat.

"Now, where were we?~" Kuai purred, licking his lips, cleaning some of the blood from around his mouth. Erron hated how hot he found the action.

"I believe you were going to make up for almost making me your lunch," Erron replied, smoothly as he could. Kuai hummed, stroking his hand along Erron's chin.

"Ah, that's right." Kuai tilted his head, a small toothy smile on his face. Kuai lent close to Erron ear, taking a second to nibble at his lobe before he whispered "my body is yours to do as you wish with."

That permission was all Erron needed to reach for Kuai's waist and haul him over his shoulder. Kuai's laugh echoed through the room as Erron made his way to the door, intent on making it to Kuai's bedroom.

He didn't look back to the corpse they were leaving behind.
